Nadine Monk comes from a long line of culinary masters. Her great Granny owned one of the first hotels in Plettenberg Bay and cooked for the Queen on her 1947 visit to South Africa.
Continuing in the tradition, Nadine has been preparing hearty, flavorful, elegant meals for South Africans and international visitors alike for the past 31 years. She loves to cook and cooks with love (and yes, you can actually taste the difference).
Nadine started Monk’s Table because she believed that a home-cooked meal made with the freshest ingredients is good for the body and the soul and more people should be able to eat well in spite of leading busy lives. She is delighted to bring her signature meals for home delivery to the Cape Southern Peninsula.

Peppered Sirloin and Mushroom
Strips of pan flamed peppered sirloin steak, medley of mushrooms in a cream sauce served with tagliatelle.
Beef Pie with Roast Vegetables
Prime cuts of beef and onions simmered in red wine and beef stock to make the perfect rich meaty pie filling, covered with flaky pastry and served with seasonal oven roasted vegetables.
Moroccan flavoured chicken thighs simmered with tomatoes, dates and dried apricots. Served with couscous with young green beans, chickpeas and lentils.
